Administrator takeover via fixed credential reset
Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in gdy666 luci-app-lucky 2.8.3 and earlier allow remote authenticated users to gain Lucky administrator access. The lucky_set_config handler accepts reset_auth_info, writes both AdminAccount and AdminPassword as 666, and restarts Lucky. A valid LuCI administrator session is required to invoke the route; the resulting fixed credentials then grant access to the separate Lucky management interface.
