Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped pet address
Published May 23, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Stored XSS in Diana K. Cury Pet Manager 1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script through Pet settings. The Add Pet form stores the Address value without sanitization and later emits it without escaping, so an injected event handler runs on reload. The attack requires Contributor access and a user to load the saved record, where the script executes in that viewer's WordPress session.
