Stored script execution via UEditor filter bypass
Published Jul 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in YzmCMS 7.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The article-publishing route at /member/member_content/init.html accepts crafted UEditor content that bypasses YzmCMS XSS filtering and is stored with the article. Article publishing must be enabled, the attacker must register and publish the payload, and an administrator must open and click it, exposing browser-accessible data and actions.
