Stored XSS via unsanitized property content
Published Jul 2, 2024 · Updated Oct 27, 2024
Stored XSS in ResidenceCMS 2.10.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser through property content. The property editor's Code View accepts HTML in user-owned property content and later renders it without neutralizing executable markup. Low-privilege access is sufficient to store the payload, but another user, including an administrator, must visit the property page to trigger it.
