Unauthorized article modification via cross-origin POST
Published Jul 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
CSRF in Wangtai IDC Cloud Management System 1.35 allows remote attackers to alter article data through an administrator's browser. The admin/info_deal.php endpoint processes a cross-origin POST for mudi=rev containing attacker-chosen article identifiers, content, and publication settings without a demonstrated request token. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to load attacker-controlled HTML, and the documented consequence is unauthorized modification of article content.
