Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Command injection in Tenda AC500 2.0.1.9(1307) allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands via a crafted mac parameter. The formWriteFacMac handler passes the mac value from /goform/WriteFacMac into a shell command without neutralizing command separators. Authenticated access to the management interface is required, and successful exploitation grants command execution on the appliance.
