User data disclosure via unchecked ID parameter
Published Feb 6, 2025 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
IDOR in Newgensoft OmniDocs 11.0_SP1_03_006 allows remote attackers to read user configuration and PII through getuserproperty. The controller servlet accepts an attacker-chosen ID in the JSON payload and returns the referenced user's properties without enforcing object-level authorization. Network access to the OmniDocs endpoint is sufficient, and the documented consequence is confidentiality loss rather than data modification or service interruption.
