Stored XSS via unchecked calendar event fields
Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in Mes Agendas in Silverpeas Core 6.3.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in invited users' browsers. The calendar API accepts JSON or XML event titles and descriptions without applying the web filter's injection checks, then renders the stored values in profiles and feeds. A standard account must create an event and invite another domain user; viewing a profile triggers the payload and exposes that user's browser session to script-driven data access or actions.
