Code execution via unchecked prototype property merge
Published Jul 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Prototype pollution in AG Grid Enterprise before 31.3.4 allows remote attackers to alter object prototypes through crafted properties. The _.mergeDeep, _ModuleSupport.jsonApply, _ModuleSupport.setPath, and _Util.jsonApply paths accept proto keys without blocking writes into Object.prototype. Exploitation requires an integrating application to pass attacker-controlled objects or paths into these APIs; resulting code execution, cross-site scripting, or service interruption depends on available application gadgets.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
