Prototype pollution in Luke Bond json-override 0.2.0 allows attackers to execute code or interrupt a host application via crafted input. The recursive merge in json-override.js assigns source keys into the destination without rejecting proto, writing attacker-controlled properties onto Object.prototype. Reachability requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled objects; subsequent property lookups determine whether the result is corrupted logic, a process crash, or code execution.
