Browser script execution via unescaped Name input

Cross-site scripting in NetBox 4.0.3 allows attackers to run arbitrary script in a user's browser through the power-port Name field. The /dcim/power-ports/add/ endpoint accepts crafted Name input and places it into web-page output without neutralizing executable HTML or JavaScript. Exploitation requires a victim to render the injected output, and published records disagree on whether field-edit privileges are required.
