Local code execution via crafted theme assembly
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Code injection in Telerik UI for WinForms 2021.1.122 through 2024.1.312 allows local users to execute code through a crafted theme assembly. Application configuration accepts a specially crafted external assembly as a theme, which the application loads and executes at its next launch. Exploitation requires preexisting local access and a pre-launch configuration change, and the code runs with the application's permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
