Root login via hard-coded firmware password

Hard-coded credentials in /etc/shadow in H3C Magic R230 Wireless Router V100R002 allow remote attackers to log in as root. The firmware stores a fixed password for the root account in /etc/shadow and uses it to authenticate inbound login attempts. No prior authentication or user interaction is required, and successful use grants full administrative control of the appliance.
