SQL injection via unencrypted TDS packet injection
Published Aug 2, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
SQL injection in Horizon Cloud Caterease 16.0.1.1663 through 24.0.1.2405 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary database commands. The client fails to enforce encryption during TDS Pre-Login, enabling man-in-the-middle attackers to inject custom TDS payloads that bypass normal input validation. Exploitation requires an adjacent network position but no authentication or user interaction, and permits database reads, writes, deletion, or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
