Database takeover via shared hard-coded SQL credentials

Published Aug 2, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Hard-coded credentials in Horizon Cloud Caterease 16.0.1.1663 through 24.0.1.2405 allow remote attackers to access its SQL database. The client embeds one shared SQL username and password, allowing extraction and reuse against any reachable Caterease database.
