Cross-scope configuration deployment via misconfigured API parameters
Published Aug 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Endpoint Central before 11.3.2416.04 or 11.3.2400.25 allows remote authenticated users to deploy configurations. Misconfigured API scope parameters for technician roles fail to enforce designated remote-office boundaries during configuration deployment. A technician account is required; successful use changes configurations in remote offices outside that account's authorized scope.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
