Unauthenticated code execution via missing permission checks
Published Aug 5, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Apache OFBiz 18.12.14 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute Groovy code through exposed webtools screens. The ProgramExport and EntitySQLProcessor Groovy handlers omit an ENTITY_MAINT check and rely on endpoint configuration to block access. An unauthenticated request reaches code execution when a mapped screen lacks its own permission check, running the payload with the OFBiz process privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
