Improper privilege management in VMware NSX 4.x and Cloud Foundation 5.x allows remote authenticated users to assume another group role. VMware has not published the affected component or the incorrect permission-handling operation that permits the cross-role assignment. Successful exploitation requires existing low-privilege credentials, high-complexity conditions, and user interaction; access is bounded by the unintended group role.
