Authenticated memory corruption via oversized page parameter
Published Apr 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F1202 1.2.0.20(408) allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted page parameter. The fromwebExcptypemanFilter handler processes page without enforcing the capacity of its destination stack buffer. Access to the network management interface with low privileges is required; successful corruption can crash the service or alter program control flow.
