Administrator-forced style reset via missing nonce validation
Published Jan 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WP Fast Total Search 1.69.234 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset style data by tricking an administrator. The ajax_get_qlog_data and ajax_se_style_reset functions accept forged requests without valid WordPress nonce verification. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow a crafted link or submit a forged request; the documented consequence is limited to resetting plugin style data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
