Path traversal in MakeStories (for Google Web Stories) 3.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to download server files. The ms_image_proxy() function retrieves a caller-controlled path or URL without a capability check or restriction to an approved location. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the request can also make the WordPress server fetch internal or external resources and expose the response.
