CVE-2024-38735Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated file disclosure via unsafe ICS inclusion

Published Jul 12, 2024 · Updated May 11, 2026

Local file inclusion in NOUS Open Useful and Simple Event Post 5.9.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server files via ICS export. The generate_ics() function lets request-controlled input select a file that PHP includes without confining the path to approved export content. No account is required; exposed files can reveal credentials, while PHP code execution additionally requires a file the server can already access and execute.
