Kernel locking-rule violation via unauthorized BPF deletion

Improper input validation in affected Linux kernel BPF verifier versions allows local users to trigger a locking-rule violation. The verifier permits a tracepoint-attached program to call map_delete on sockmap or sockhash maps even though that program type cannot update them. Local access and permission to load the crafted BPF program are required; public assessments bound the consequence to either integrity loss or service interruption.
