CVE-2024-38648

Credential decryption via hardcoded secret

Published Jul 12, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025

A hardcoded secret in Ivanti DSM before 2024.2 allows remote authenticated users to decrypt sensitive data on an adjacent network. Ivanti has not published the secret's code or storage locus, the protected data format, or the cryptographic operation that consumes it. Exploitation requires authenticated adjacent-network access and exposes sensitive data, including user credentials; broader integrity and availability effects remain unspecified.
