Kernel memory corruption via undersized filename array

Memory corruption in the Linux kernel allows local users to corrupt kernel memory through long NTFS3 filenames or labels. The NTFS3 cpu_str structure declares a 20-byte name array, while ntfs_set_label and related filename paths copy up to 256 or 510 bytes using attacker-controlled lengths. Access requires a mounted NTFS3 volume; unprivileged lookup, creation, link, or rename operations can disclose adjacent heap data, corrupt kernel objects, or panic the system.
