Local kernel compromise via kernel-mode signal delivery

Improper exception handling in the Linux kernel allows local users to corrupt kernel state through OpenRISC trap paths. The do_fpe_trap and do_trap handlers call force_sig_fault for exceptions raised while restoring kernel-mode state instead of terminating the kernel path, overwriting exception state and repeatedly resuming the faulting instruction. An unprivileged local process can trigger the path through crafted floating-point state, exposing kernel memory, enabling supervisor-mode state corruption, or hanging the CPU.
