Filesystem corruption via oversized JFFS2 xattr node

Out-of-bounds writes in affected Linux kernel branches allow local users to corrupt JFFS2 filesystems through oversized xattrs. The JFFS2 xattr write path accepts a value whose unsplit node exceeds an eraseblock and writes it into the next block. A local user needs write permission on a file in a mounted JFFS2 volume with xattr support; exploitation corrupts unrelated nodes and can crash the kernel.
