Kernel memory corruption via of_modalias overflow

Buffer overflow in of_modalias() in affected Linux kernel releases allows local users to corrupt memory through an undersized output buffer. The first snprintf() can make the remaining length negative and advance the destination pointer past the buffer; a later size check also omits the terminating NUL byte. Low-privilege local access is required, and successful exploitation exposes or alters kernel data or crashes the system.
