Arbitrary HTTPS requests via prefix-based WebDAV allowlist
Published Jun 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SSRF in NextChat before 2.12.4 allows remote attackers to send arbitrary HTTPS requests through its WebDAV API endpoint. The handler accepts an endpoint value when its raw string merely starts with an allowlisted WebDAV URL, so a lookalike hostname passes validation. No authentication is required; serving JavaScript from a valid-TLS HTTPS host also enables code execution in a NextChat user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
