A stack-based buffer overflow in Lenovo XClarity Controller allows remote authenticated users with elevated privileges to execute arbitrary code. XCC mishandles a specially crafted IPMI command in an undisclosed command-processing locus, overflowing a stack buffer. Reachability requires an elevated XCC account, and successful exploitation grants code execution within the embedded management controller.
