Unauthorized workflow auto-attachment via missing permission check
Published Jun 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Missing authorization in JetBrains YouTrack before 2024.2.34646 allows remote authenticated users to enable workflow auto-attach. The workflow administration path accepts the auto-attach change without enforcing the Low-level Admin Write permission required to manage it. A low-privilege account can cause a workflow to attach automatically to new projects, but public records identify no broader consequence.
