CVE-2024-38505Network attack vector

Access-token disclosure via third-party transmission

Published Jun 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Insufficiently protected credentials in JetBrains YouTrack before 2024.2.34646 allow remote attackers to obtain a user access token. The affected request flow sends the token to a third-party site instead of keeping the credential within the intended YouTrack origin. The exposure occurs over the network without authentication or user interaction and is limited to token confidentiality; JetBrains has not disclosed the triggering request or destination.
