Cross-site scripting via unvalidated text fields
Published Jul 22, 2024 · Updated Dec 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Apache Syncope 2.1 through 2.1.14 and 3.0 through 3.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to inject HTML. Shared Wicket text-field panels in Console and Enduser accepted tag-shaped input without the HTML-rejection validator added by the fix. Exploitation requires permission to edit an object, profile, or request and another user's interaction with the injected content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
