Improper privilege management in Broadcom CA Client Automation 14.5 CU7 allows local users to recover locally stored credentials. The CAF and SD_ACMD command-line tools let non-administrators invoke encryption operations, exposing key material used for encrypted agent configuration. A low-privileged Windows account and local configuration access are required; recovered service-account secrets enable privilege escalation or access to other systems.
