NTLM hash disclosure via unsafe UNC resolution

Server-side request forgery in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.0 through 2.4.59 on Windows allows remote attackers to disclose NTLM hashes via UNC paths. Server-context substitutions beginning with a backreference or variable are resolved as filesystem paths, so crafted request input can trigger outbound UNC access. Exposure requires a request-influenced server-context substitution or malicious content and is bounded to disclosure of the server account’s NTLM challenge-response material.
