Authenticated command execution via crafted backup restoration

OS command injection in TP-Link Archer router firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted backup. The backup/restore function processes attacker-controlled backup contents without neutralizing command elements before restoration. Administrative access from the LAN or Wi-Fi is required, after which commands execute with the router firmware's privileges.
