Cross-site scripting in ExpressionEngine before 7.4.11 allows remote attackers to run script in another user's browser via crafted content. Affected installer and Control Panel rendering paths do not consistently convert formatted values to strings and encode HTML metacharacters before including them in output. Exploitation requires a user to view the affected output; injected script can read or alter browser-accessible data in that user's security context.
