Mixed-content policy bypass
Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Inappropriate implementation in Google Chrome's Network component before 124.0.6367.60 allows remote attackers to bypass mixed-content policy. Google identifies the locus only as Network, and the restricted Chromium issue leaves the incorrect operation on untrusted HTML undisclosed. A victim must load a crafted HTML page; the bypass permits content that Chrome's mixed-content controls should block or upgrade.
