Authentication bypass in D-Link DSL-225 firmware GEM_1.00.02 allows remote attackers to access protected router functions. The authentication flow accepts manipulated or replayed responses without adequately verifying their freshness or legitimacy. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful exploitation exposes sensitive internal routes and elevated features.
