CVE-2024-38425

Application-launch disclosure via unauthorized implicit broadcast

Published Oct 7, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024

Improper authorization in Qualcomm Snapdragon Performance allows local users to obtain application-launch information through an implicit broadcast. The Performance component sends an implicit broadcast containing application-launch data without enforcing authorization on receivers. A local low-privileged user can receive the broadcast without user interaction, exposing launch activity but not causing a service interruption.
