Memory corruption via firmware session use-after-free
Published Nov 4, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2024
Use-after-free in Qualcomm Computer Vision firmware allows local users to corrupt memory while firmware session errors are handled. Qualcomm identifies the session-error handling locus but does not publish the responsible routine or precise object-lifetime sequence. Low-privileged local access is required; successful exploitation can execute code within the affected firmware context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
