Memory corruption via malformed frame packets

Improper input validation in Qualcomm Snapdragon Computer Vision components allows local users to corrupt memory with crafted frame packets. The EVA kernel frame-packet path processes packet content without validation sufficient to prevent memory corruption; Qualcomm does not name the exact function or omitted check. Low-privileged local access is sufficient without user interaction, and exploitation can disclose data, alter state, and interrupt service.
