Memory corruption via station statistics buffer copy
Published Nov 4, 2024 · Updated Nov 16, 2024
Buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN Windows Host components allows local users to corrupt memory during station LL statistics handling. The published advisory identifies an unchecked buffer copy in that statistics path but does not disclose the buffer, copied field, or function. Low-privileged local access is required; successful exploitation can read or alter data and interrupt the affected device without user interaction.
