Stored XSS in DSpace 7.0 through 7.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script when another user downloads a bitstream. The checkFormatForContentDisposition method fails to classify HTML, XML, and JavaScript MIME types as download-only, causing inline browser processing. Exploitation requires Submitter privileges plus a visitor or logged-in user who downloads the file or follows its link; separate frontend and backend domains limit the impact.
