CVE-2024-38314Network attack vector

Cryptographic key disclosure via hard-coded secret

Published Oct 24, 2024 · Updated Oct 24, 2024

Hard-coded cryptographic key exposure in IBM Maximo Monitor 8.10, 8.11, and 9.0 allows attackers to obtain the key from a compromised environment. IBM identifies use of a hard-coded cryptographic key but does not disclose the component, storage location, or operation that exposes it. Access requires prior compromise of the Maximo environment, and the published impact is limited to disclosure of the embedded key.
