Code execution via crafted-file stack overflows
Published Nov 28, 2024 · Updated Nov 29, 2024
Stack overflows in Fuji Electric V-SFT 6.2.2.0 and earlier and TELLUS and TELLUS Lite 4.0.19.0 and earlier allow code execution. Public vendor and CNA materials do not identify the affected file parser or explain which fields exceed its stack buffer. A local user must open an attacker-crafted file; successful exploitation can disclose information or execute arbitrary code in that user's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=6.2.2.0
- Affected versionversion=v6.2.2.0 and earlier
