CVE-2024-38294Network attack vector

Remote code execution through email registration endpoint

Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025

Remote code execution in ALCASAR before 3.6.1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through email_registration_back.php. The upstream record identifies the endpoint and fix revision but does not disclose which input reaches which code-execution operation. Published assessments disagree on whether authentication is required; successful exploitation provides code execution on the access controller.
