Insufficient credential protection in Vigilant Fixed LPR Coms Box 3.1.171.9 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to recover credentials. Device logs retain credentials with protection that open-source tools can decode; neither CISA nor the CNA identifies the log format or encoding scheme. Physical access to an affected communications box is required, and recovered credentials enable device tampering or access to sensitive information.
