Credential disclosure via unencrypted hard-disk storage

Cleartext storage in Motorola Solutions Vigilant Fixed LPR Coms Box 3.1.171.9 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to read credentials. The appliance writes Criminal Justice Information and database credentials to its hard disk without full-disk or column-level encryption. Physical possession of the removed drive is required, after which stored sensitive data can be read without authenticating to the appliance.
