CVE-2024-38260Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via uninitialized resource use

Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Remote code execution in Microsoft Windows Server allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the RD Licensing Service. Microsoft identifies use of an uninitialized resource in the service but has not disclosed the affected routine or how network input reaches it.
